HELENA, Mont. —The Montana Secretary of State’s Office received three separate requests from at least ten legislators, each requesting to convene a special session. Polling closed at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024.

The results of the special session polling have been finalized and posted to the Secretary of State’s website. A majority of legislators (greater than or equal to 76) failed to approve the calls for a special session (5-3-108, MCA).
