HELENA, Mont. – Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen congratulated candidates in the 2022 Primary Election following the close of polls on Tuesday. The Secretary also thanked Montana’s state and local election officials, as well as the thousands of Montanans that cast their ballots in Tuesday’s election.

“As the polls close, I would like to congratulate the hundreds of candidates on the ballot across the state for seeing their hard work reach the finish line on this Election Day,” said Secretary Jacobsen. “Montana’s election officials have been hard at work to provide Montana voters with a great experience at the polls, and I thank them for their dedication, which will continue with tallying and reporting results throughout the night.

“To the Montana voters, thank you for your participation in our important electoral process. Your votes determine the future leadership of our state.”

County election offices will provide updated election results throughout the evening. Results will be available on the Secretary of State’s website at https://sosmt.gov.
