HELENA, Mont. – Election Day is officially under way in Montana.
Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen announced the opening of polls across the state for the 2022 Primary Election on Tuesday morning. Registered voters can cast their in-person ballots and deliver their absentee ballots until the polls close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
“I would like to thank the election officials and volunteers for their hard work during this Primary Election cycle. I would also like to wish each candidate the best of luck and thank them for deciding to run for office in our great state,” said Secretary Jacobsen. “I wish all Montanans a happy Election Day, and thank you for voting, Montana!”
Polling place locations and hours are available on the Secretary of State’s website. Voters also have numerous options when it comes to voter identification; a list may also be found on the SOS website.
Election results will begin to be available following the close of polls at 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Results will be available through the Secretary of State’s website.
