HELENA, Mont. — Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen is reminding eligible Montana voters of upcoming deadlines for the June 4th Primary Election.
- Secretary Jacobsen encourages voters to check their voter registration information to ensure it is current and accurate.
- To confirm their status, voters may click the “verify voter registration information” button on the VoteMT.gov website. Voters can enter their information, select the “federal primary 2024” option, and click “voter registration.”
- Voters needing to register or update their registration information during the late registration period may do so at their county election office by completing a voter registration application.
- County election offices mailed absentee ballots to registered absentee voters on May 10th.
- Voters may track their ballots by clicking the “track your absentee ballot” button on the VoteMT.gov website. Voters can enter their information, select the “federal primary 2024” option, and click “track my ballot.”
- If an absentee voter has not received their ballot, they should contact their county election office. Contact information is available on the Secretary of State’s website by clicking here.
- Just over one week remains before the Primary Election Day. The Montana Elections Team recommends that voters deliver their absentee ballots directly to their local election office to ensure they are received by Election Day.
- Contact information for county election offices is available on the VoteMT.gov website.
- Polling place voters can prepare for Election Day by finding their voting information and sample ballot at VoteMT.gov.
- To find voter-specific information, including a sample ballot, Montana voters may visit the VoteMT.gov website and select the “Find Your Sample Ballot” button at the top of the home page. Voters can enter their information, select the “federal primary 2024” option, and click “Sample Ballot.”
