HELENA, Mont. — Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen issued the following statement following the Montana District Court’s decision regarding the PSC case on Monday:

“The jury got it right. The ruling proves that this was nothing more than a baseless lawsuit to create headlines and undermine Montana’s procedures and processes. Liberal lawyers and ‘experts’ did not produce any evidence justifying their case, as stated in the Court’s findings. Montanans are fed up with the political games and out-of-state dark money trying to change our state.”

From the beginning, the Secretary of State’s Office followed the law and will continue to do so.
