HELENA, Mont. — Montana Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen thanked the dozens of businesses attending the 2025 Made in Montana Tradeshow at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds this weekend. Secretary Jacobsen also congratulated several businesses for being honored with various awards.
The Made in Montana Tradeshow is hosted annually by the Montana Department of Commerce, bringing business owners and consumers together for a weekend celebrating Montana-made goods and products. This year marked the 41st year of the Made in Montana program and the 27th year of the trade show.
“This is one of the most exciting weekends of the year for Montana businesses,” said Secretary Jacobsen. “Our great state is blessed with excellent local businesses, including those in the Made in Montana program. Please join me in celebrating and supporting these home-grown businesses.”
This year’s event featured a “wholesale day” on Friday, while the public can browse the local goods and products on Saturday. The Department of Commerce anticipates thousands of Montanans will attend the event and support their fellow Montanans.
Every year, a business is awarded the title of Montana Retailer of the Year based on nominations from fellow retailers. This year, Cut Bank’s Marketplace on Main accepted the Retailer of the Year honor.
Other award recipients during the 2025 Made in Montana Tradeshow included:
Gluten Free Prairie (Manhattan) — Best in Show
Stonefly Studio (Billings) — Best in Show Honorable Mention
Roots & Shoots (Great Falls) — Best in Show New Exhibitor
“Congratulations to the award recipients and all businesses for their participation, and a heartfelt thank you to our Made in Montana businesses for their commitment to operating in our great state,” said Secretary Jacobsen.
